Background and history

Courageous pioneers
for modern transport!!

Founded in 1946, Paul Guse Vieh began by driving from Bremen to Berlin. At the same time, he took care of construction site supplies with sand from his own pit and supplied US barracks with refrigerated transports.

The 70's and 80's set the ball rolling as Guse Transport + Logistik handled the first orders for coffee, cocoa and grain. Ambition and the courage to think differently prompted his son Siegfried Guse to develop special trailers for various types of transport and new loading techniques for bulk goods. He thereby demonstrated his instinct for transport and goods as well as for sustainable solutions: his flexible system is still in use today.

Today, Guse Transport + Logistik has approximately 450 employees and a fleet of over 600 vehicles. From its headquarters in Weyhe near Bremen, the third generation manages the family business with multiple branches in Germany and abroad.
